A lot of my writing focuses on this city that I call home, Singapore. The politics, the culture, the history and its people fascinate me in a manner that evokes my desire to write. I see myself as a product of this city and thus my writing is at times introspective and through the discovery of what is around me I hope to better understand myself.

My final-year project on the fight for the city between its urban planners and the users of spaces.

I contribute occasionally to this independent campus newspaper started by a group of students in Nanyang Technological University.

////Reports on the 1st World Journalism Education Congress (2007)
As a reporter for journalism.sg, I attended this first-ever conference held in Singapore and filed a series of reports for a website dedicated to serving news about journalism in Singapore.

////Sing Singapore: Building Nationhood through National Day songs (2007)
An ethnographic music research paper about how National Days songs are performed and written to build a Singapore identity.
